I was just taking pictures of the sunset out the car window, and it wasn't until after I actually looked at the pictures that I realized I had caught this galah midflight. One of my personal favorite pictures, because it felt so lucky to catch this, completely by accident.

Here I was bored in the car driving up the east coast of Australia, so I was experimenting with long exposure photos. I was using the AstroShader app I got for astrophotography, because it allows manual control of ISO and shutter speed and automatically merges longer shutter speeds together. I tried many times to get the right shutter speed, ISO, and timing. I finally managed to get this shot just as a truck was driving past.
